Who is The Super Secret Debt Reduction Committee Fooling?
So we all had the wonderful experience this summer of seeing our government fail to do its duty and as a consequence of that in a government that was suppose to be completely transparent, we now have super secret debt committees. These committees are much like the death panels that the Republicans described when calling my dying Mother of cancer. They are suppose to have the power to decide life and death over ordinary citizens.
But here is the trick. It is a political year and neither party wants to be held accountable for their mistakes. Let’s face it Washington, DCdoesn’t know how to do anything without stick the American people with the check because they are completely lead around by their noses by corporate America and OPEC. So they have made a bipartisan committee to reduce this debt and they are fighting. Huge surprise in America. Nothing against China but their congress functions more efficiently then ours now. And I have watched Chinese Congress and it is a free for all. Michelle Bachmann should run for Chinese Congress she would fit in perfectly. I am certain China would not have. So the Super Secret Debt Reduction Committee is going to let all of the Triggers take effect. They don’t want to be responsible. God forbid anyone in DC be responsible or accountable. I actually watch Meet the Press for an hour this morning and I like David Gregory but I was insulted that an hour of my time was wasted over this debate.
No one has the stones in DC to do their job. It is why I have advocated throwing all the bums out of DC until we find a group that works on behalf of the American People. So we all know it is coming and we are all going to be starved and homeless because of really awful decisions by both parties. My beautiful son who wants only good for the world and wishes to be the future president of the United States of America will never receive his deserved funding and even worse his country is going to neglect him. And all of those politicians are living like fat cats at the expense of every person outside of the beltway.
The only thing I think America should unite over is getting rid of their crooked government. And I mean all of them. No one should be spared especially if they actually do let the triggers take effect. Any attempt to make anymore hardships on the American people will be met with the greatest resistance possible. And we aren’t going to war for a country who can’t feed us, educate us, give us jobs, give us decent healthcare, or enfranchise us. It is not happening anymore.
Consider as soon as those triggers kick in consider all thirteen spears broken in the Talon of the American seal.
And DC better look around fast and find some carrots to throw to all of the American People because it has been a decade of destitution in this country while those fat cats in DC live high high high on the hog and it is over.
So stoneless lazy cowardly Super Secret Debt Reduction Committee who can’t do your job, we aren’t in a forgiving mood. We have gone hungry and been deprived of basic necessities for far too long while all of your have lived very well. The American People will answer either way if they aren’t helped financially immediately and both parties can kiss all their ambitions goodbye. And remember one day you will have to walk among us and you will answer for your actions or therefore lack of actions then. Throw all the Bums Out!! Everyone in this country knows that the major liabilities and the biggest welfare recipients are the crooks inside the beltway and not the people outside the beltway. Cutting inside the beltway first and most logical step.

It isn't a disease according to the DSM V (the medical community). It was a typo. It was considered one back in the 1970(s) but no longer. That is why I find it absurded for Bachmann's husband to be given federal dollars to run a clinic to cure a disease which the medical community no longer ocnsiders a disease. Homosexuality is NOT a disease!! So a taxpayer funded clinic to treat it seems extremely wasteful.

The first thing ordinary people can and should do is not allow themselves to be divide by government. The only way government especially broken corrupt ones stay in power is by dividing the people. And they do. It as old of a political trick as politics itself. The young against the old is one war and then the blaack against the white or the republican against the democrat and vice versa in all cases. Everyone inside the beltway of Washington DC gets along great because they are giving all of us outside the beltway the shaft. They live very well at all of our expenses when in fact they are suppose to be serving us. Yes, we have to vote all of them out. And we have to keep voting them out until they get the message they work for us and not their own economic self interests.
And you can organize with your friends who will vote. You can participate in freeing young minds from the belief that just because someone from the 202 area code calls doesn't mean you have to take their orders. And it doesn't entitle them to live a better life then everyone else. You see how Bachmann acts and speaks. You think she deserves to live in a free house paid for by taxpayers from the bankrupt Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae which will make it impossible for you to obtain a student loan if you should need one? Or that her husband should recieve federal funding to run a clinic which supposedly turns gay people straight? Homosexuality is a disease. It can't be treated. I am 400+ hubs into all of this and trust me all of us need to unify and vote everyone out who is not effective. If you get an "F" on a test do you get an "A"? No. Government is failing so why should they be allowed to stay in power or collect another dime especially of the extremely high welfare monies they receive. Because have no doubt every elected official sitting inside that cult called DC is a welfare baby of which the likes of Bill Gates would aspire.
It is sad but very true. And don't even get me going on the insider trading congress is involved in. Which would be illegal if you are I did it but since they are Congress they award companies millions of dollars, buy the stocks and then sell them at a profit. They all need pink slips and to join the ranks of realizing what it is to be an American again.

I typed a very long comment here but clicked a link and didn't realize I forgot to submit. =( Oh, well. What I basically asked was for specific actions that citizens could take in order to fix this problem. I'd think that voting out an official will most likely bring in more of the same, or is that not true? I believe there are some decent politicians who try to get things done, but partisanship destroys their effort. What do you think?

I am certain sitting in the state of the President which is far better of then the rest of the country it is easy to come to those conclusions.
After my family has served 10 presidents I think I am entitled to have my opionions. Have you ever considered that people may not be being honest with you especially since you are precinct chairman?
I would be offended but honestly until you have been outside the political process and really heard what people think you will you will always view me as harsh. The truth is government has been brutal to its people for a very long time and the people view the government harshly. They just will not speak thier minds to someone who is part of the establishment.
And if you read all of my work which admittedly it is a lot I have offered more constructive suggestions then I have been negative by a two to one ratio.
What you should have recognized is that there are many people who agree with me. Only you descent. For your 1 comment there are 4 people who agree. You sir are in the minority and that isn't even counting the people who are too afraid to agree.
A naturalist would tell you to accept the inevitable. There is an inevitablility here and I have spared the president quips.

I completely respect your decision not to read articles which you view as negative while I believe they are for the betterment of the people of this country. And it must have been very difficult for you to write your beliefs being in the minority but you were always safe to do so with me Max. I would have never judged you harshly for having a difference of opinion as I believe diversity is a source of strength in this country. I would really worry we were communistis if we all agreed. Descent is our last bit of proof we live in a democracy and not a police or communist state.

You have your point of view, JT, and I agree you've made some constructive suggestions elsewhere, but from my experience talking with a wide cross section of actual, everyday people, your overall political attitude seems to me excessively hostile, negative, even nihilistic.
I'm a major party precinct chairman in my precinct (York #89, DuPage County, Illinois) where I help anyone without regard to their politics or faith, so I hear many points of view, but I rarely anything close to your harsh negativity.
We've both made our points, I've tried to steer you in a more constructive direction as best I could, but I think now it's time for me to check out on this topic for now.
I wish you nothing but the best, and I hope we can continue to be friends on other subjects, bec. I value your companionship and esp. your strong communicative force which I think has important value. I just don't want to see you get hurt using it.

Hi Max,
I think I have been abdundantly clear and my family has served ten presidents starting with Rutherford B. Hayes including William McKinley and Theodore Roosevelt. We worked for Taft as well but only two days a month. Another person very close has served the last four presidents.
What I write is exceptionally fair. I have put out a 5 point plan for rebuilding Americans economy and provided hubs for peopple to enter into those fields. I have offered one hub after another of answers.
What I want more then anything is to alllow people to discuss the fact the the super debt committee failed and the triggers will have a terrible ripple effect across this country because the government failed to act responsibly because of an election year.
Or country is operatiing more like a feudal system then communism. I think I just noticed that like our former Soviet friends we are now all required to carry papers, we ae under the guise of propoganda, and corruption takes everything in the name of Utopia. Harvey isn't entirely incorrect.
I have written and offered suggestions to help fix the economy. Just because my ideas were not embraced doesn't mean that I have offered substantial policies ot mend this broken political system and country. And Obama did claim to be that Jefersonian politician and Hercules that would fix the country.
A congress that would have had the stones to over see the middle eastern war (A thing called oversight which Congress seems to have forgotten how to do) so our national security wouldn't have been compromised by the wars in the Middle East would have been god.
And I am a Republican who is very independent. I don't even believe in the parties.
For DC not to realize that every American is fully aware how badly they have been lied to is a serious mistake. They have lost their ability to manipulate the people into have a false sense of security this too is a strategical mistake.
How about Congress not given themselves a 5% raise annually for the last what 6 years when the entire rest of the country si unemployed and suffer financial hardships? Especially when they can't get it together to riase the debt ceiling, prevent default, and sit on a debt collection committee instead of doing their jobs and completely fail at their tasks.
Where's the personal responsibily and accountability in DC?\
What do I want?
I want a new government in which all of those who failed no longer collect a check. I want the antiquated to move out of the way (I think this is the oldest congress ever) and have all new people and that includes Republican. Congress thinks all Americans are replaceable. I think Congress is readily replaceable and so is the Speaker of the House and the President of the Senate.

So, meanwhile, are you looking for the wonderful, pristine, noble Hercules able to clean out these filthy stables? the Jeffersonian quality statesmen and women able to govern the country to your satisfaction? Will you be available for duty when need support, and more than support?

JT, Putting it together to fail is a strategic move. He knew they would fail, so he put it together for the voters to see it's not his fault. You saw he never wanted to get involved, so he deflected the blame.
The real blame belongs to Obama and the Democrat's. They knew what they wanted and wouldn't give up any entitlement, or raise taxes. So what could the Republican's do?

Odd you should expect me to do this when this was thew very message Barack Obama campaigned on "Change" and he did have the support and look nothing has changed. It is exactly the same.
Throw the bums out is an old political statement and I do feel it was completely criminal of congress to give themselves a 5% raise while they let the debt ceiling collapse.

JT, the supercommittee did not fail. Each member did exactly what those who selected the members expected them to do! Anything else would have brought even worse problems "back home," throughout the country, and all over the world. What's the point of representative government, if elected reps turn their backs on the very people who elected them?
I agree we need some kind of serious changes in our politics, but the question is, "What changes?" Disrespecting the institution of Congress and calling all reps bums and criminals?
You seem to assume each congr district hides some ideal leaders who will only do what is theoretically right when they get to Wash. D.C. So now all you have to do is organize a national campaign to find these wonderful people, support them, and convince their districts to send them to Congress.
To so change the "vox populi" would seemingly require a whole higher level more of general education than is now in sight. Anyone want this job of teacher?

They failed and it has put both parties in jeopardy. I am exceptionally hard on myself although it might take you a while to find out where and how in my 400+ hubs. Why is it I feel like the government doesn't represent the people but does things to them?
I have a certain audience that likes my political writings and these hubs serve them.
Congresses approval rating last time I checked was 9%. That means 91% of the country disapproves of congress and the other 9% don't know. My political writings which receive a lot of traffic are only a small portion of what I write. And I am only the umpire in this political frenzy. It is never anything personal.

If you will check the latest edition of "The Almanac of American Politics" (National Journal), I think you will find that the committee members are not all spineless cowards and criminals, but are doing the best they can to represent what they think their constituents want them to do. It's called representative democracy, based on the citizens who take time to vote and otherwise participate actively in the political process. Roughly speaking, each district gets the rep they deserve.
In-depth historical analysis of this supercommittee indicates it was a set-up by the Obama admin. to clearly as possible show the 2012 electorate which side was most to blame for the deadlock (knowing full well neither side would likely budge on its principles). Only time will tell whether he was right, but in any case, it's only politics, and in our system of govmt, the people can correct it whenever they have the will and the leadership to do so.
It may feel good ranting and raving about the sins and immoralities of other people (while ignoring one's own), but let's urge that fiery energy forward in a constructive direction toward worthy goals we can live with.

JT, a real good look at the silliness of the debt reduction committee. The whole drama was set up by the morons who are running it and participating. They really need to all be removed, they can't do the job they were hired to do so let's get them out and find some that will do their job. Spineless cowards that are amoral and criminal. Thanks for the accurate protrayal of the Government.

The cult on the inside of the beltway is meant to be humorous but it might make you stop and think and thanks for the reading me.
The "Throw the Bums Out" and the other stuff Max is referring to are direct insults to me on your hub. He is using your hub to take jabs at me. He is really in violations of terms of service but he knew you wouldn't know and would approve his comments.
He is using you so just watch yourself please.
