Washington DC Legally Redefining Poverty in America

Updated on March 17, 2013

Along with change on the horizon there is wonderful news. Washington DC in its infinite wisdom has decided that they don’t need to create jobs or deal with illegal immigration or our failing infrastructure but it the grand tradition of the executive they have decided to do the very least. So how will they solve the poverty issue in America? It is simple they will legally change the definition of poverty. This right now is occurring across Florida. Floridians are having their food stamps and benefits cut because Florida has created laws which changes poverty standard levels. Please see FS 414.31 in order for anyone to qualify for public assistance.

That is how they are going to solve the poverty in America and low living standards. Government just redefined poverty levels. For instance single family making under $7000 considered living in poverty but a family making $7001 middle class. Now let’s remember that this is not one party but by consent of both parties. I know because I called Health and Human Services in Washington DC who was rude and hung up on me several times. Barack Obama not only agrees with this but he is advocating it as well as Rick Scott. Republicans and Democrats only play here is to make the poor and disenfranchised more poor and disenfranchised.

Definition of Poverty in Florida under FS

This is how Florida Statutes cite FS 414.31 but in actuality they have changed the standard for poverty in Florida.

414.31State agency for administering federal food assistance program.

(1)The department shall place into operation in each of the several counties of the state a food assistance program as authorized by the Congress of the United States. The department is designated as the state agency responsible for the administration and operation of such programs.

(2)The department shall provide for such instruction and counseling as will best assure that the recipients are able to provide a nutritionally adequate diet through the increased purchasing power received. This program shall be administered and operated in such a way that the distribution of food assistance shall be in locations reasonably accessible to those areas in which persons eligible for the benefit of this program are likely to be concentrated.

Florida's Tricks Will Be Played On the Entire Country

They should be ashamed. Didn’t they speak of a shared ordeal? I don’t see Rick Scott or Barack Obama or Mitt Romney. They could feed a small city on the amount of money they have spent in jet fuel. They could feed a small state on the amount of money that have been spent in their super packs and yet they all claim to campaign the impoverished.

The only thing both candidates are campaigning is lining their own pockets. They both should be very ashamed of themselves. Congress as well who authorizes the Health and Human Services budget which somehow always ends up in the general fund for military and intelligence operations. There is no change on the horizon. No spare change to be found in your pocket, no job and when you apply for welfare benefits you will find out you don’t even qualify for welfare because they have lowered the standard for poverty in America.

The wealthy better be prepared to pay big time because they owe more then they could ever imagine.

What will be even more amazing is this is the year of the union ticket. No matter who you vote for they will decide their opponent was right about certain aspects and our country kin will endure an even worse fleecing. For instance, Barack Obama has redefined poverty of instead of cracking the whip and making an economy. But Romney will have to decide to tax after all. And the war will not end. Neither of these two candidates are prepared to end the war. It pays too well. The country is on an unstable path but even worse then that is that the government has steered it so far into the special interest groups favor to get kick backs that leadership has become unsustainable.

The curtain has been drawn back and the wizard of OZ is revealed and he/she is a greedy unpatriotic fat cat who doesn’t care for the average person let alone the disabled or the veterans of this country but their lives living inside the bubble of the beltway in Washington DC. Case and point Michelle Bachman who doesn’t know who the founding Fathers are and sits on the intelligence committee. Who would let such an idiot on the intelligence committee. Jesus Christ spoke to her and told her to run for president? Did he tell her she wouldn’t get the nomination? It seems stupid is abundant in Washington, DC.

No Difference No Matter Who Wins

Change is not on the horizon. The only change you will ever see is the government turn on the people worse for their own self interests. It is pathetic. So pathetic in fact I have banned cable, internet and phone service from our home. It is time to take power away from government who enfranchises Hollywood, Sarah Palin and Levi Johnson. No thank you. This government is making Nixon look like a hero. It is time everyone inside the beltway of DC live in $600 a month without kickbacks and the rest of us live like Kings and Queens. Their reign is over.
