Top Ten Holiday Carols

To start your Holiday Season with a festive musical accompaniment we will review the results of a poll of the Top Ten Holiday songs of all time and the results. So I went around my community and I took a poll and I asked what everyone thought was the top Holiday Carols of all time. There was a great deal of disagreement and I am aware that my survey is non-random as it includes everyone living in my area and therefore the results are not conclusive. I will however share the results with you just the same.

I will list the songs in order of the responses I received and then I will rank them.

O'Come All Ye Faithful

Jingle Bells

O'Holy Night

The Little Drummer Boy

Silver Bells

Carol of the Bells

Joy To The World

Oh Tannenbaum

Santa Clause is Comin To Town

Silent Night

Results

This survey of course was conducted in the USA in particular Florida and I would image it would very from region to region. But the purpose is to provide you with some classic Holiday Carols for your enjoyment and possible for Caroling if you so chose to do so this year. Don’t you miss the days when Carolers would come and sing at your door just spreading good will and Peace on Earth.

The results of the survey are as follows.

In:

10th- Place: O’Holy Night

9th- Place: Stana Claus is Coming to Town

8th- Place: Joy To The World

7th-Place: Jingle Bells

6th- Place: O’ Tannenbaum

5th-Place: O’Come All Yea Faithful

4th-Place: Silver Bells

3rd- Place: The Little Drummer Boy

2nd-Place: Silent Night

1st- Place: Carol of the Bells

In Conlusion

The Holidays are just around the corner and to set the mood I have taken surveys to see what the most popular songs/ carols are for the Holidays. I have provided the results so you may hear the music and to encourage you to Carol this holiday season as it will prove to be challenging to us all. Christmas Caroling cost nothing but time and a generous nature. You can gather your friends and practice and then spread the joy of the Holidays with neighbors during what will be a very challenging Holiday for all of us. But if we can find any consolation it is in all of around the world these songs reside and I will prove it to you as I will share several versions of the Carol of the Bell from around the world.
