House: Parents

Recently released from prison for driving into his ex-girlfriend’s home House is now clean. And Foreman is the Dean of Medicine and an Administrator. Chase thinks Foreman is a complete sell out but Foreman is really trying to keep House employed and out of jail.

House has his old office back and has a door between his and Wilson’s office. And poor Wilson is having to constantly explain House’s motivations to everyone in the hospital as he is the only person who understands House.

The new diagnostic team is made up of the old team. Or the boys' team made up of Chase and Toub. And then the new team made up of Dr. Parks and Dr. Adams.

And while the witty banter is still exceptionally witty I miss the old team and especially the Olivia Wilde who played thirteen. But the show House has been on television for a lot of sessions and it would be expect to have turn overs in the cast.

What will really be interesting will be when House falls off the wagon. Although last week they did have Martini’s so House can’t be too far from falling back into his addiction.

House: Parents Trailer

Review

A teenager is following his late father's foot steps and going into being a clown. He has partial paralysis which a TIA. It is pretty rare for a teenager to have a TIA. They claim he has a heart problem but he is having abnormal bleeding which would indicate elevated blood pressure consistent with the TIA. The child's Father is not actually dead.

In the clinic House has a patient that insists he is a Diabetic. He even goes so far as to put apple juice in a urine cup and ask House to test it. House drinks it in a most disturbing fashion and shots the guy down again. The man's wife has been cooking diabetic meals which actually make him sick

Meanwhile Wilson has tickets to a fight in Atlantic city which he wants to attend but House can't go because he is under House arrest and Hospital arrest with his ankle bracelet but House insists he is still going to see the fight. He has some choice words for Foremen who is discourages him from attending but House still insists he is going to attend. Wilson reveals Houses Dad was a minister. House believes all parents damage their children. Chase messes with Dr. Adams badly about her parents on behalf of House. This season feels more like a Fraternity then a television show. Wilson begs Foremen to allow House to go to the fight. But Foremen has to be the jerk to get House through his parole.

And I would have to wonder if they fired their medical consultant. The diagnosis keeps changing. Simple things like liver failure would have showed up in labs. Also the habitual consents is strnage as well. Once a parent signs a consent for a child in a hospital there doesn't even need to another consent form.

They finally decide the teenager has cancer ad give him chemo and it shuts down all of his organs. That can happen with chemo but more likely from shock. Sadly the child was a victim of a horrific crime which he was not informed about.
