Barack Obama Flip Flops Again On Same Sex Marriage

Seems Like Old Times

As a support of LGBT(Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual and Transgender) rights since i was a teenager, I am shocked at the President elects conduct. In 2008 he was pro Same Sex marriage, last week he was against it and now this week he supports it. I feel this is mean spirited and unfair to the LGBT community and they are just being used as political pons in the up and coming election. If Barack Obama couldn't deliver LGBT rights in 2008 to 2012 when we literally have soldiers who happen to be LGBT dying in a war overseas then I don't believe it is going to ever happen from this president. He may claim to support it but in the end he will figure out a way of ever doing it and he will blame the Republicans.

While Dick Chenney was not the most popular fellow in the Republican Party he did reveal on thing which is that Republicans have been and continue to support the LGBT community. This is not new. This has been going on since Republicans vote Theodore Roosevelt into office. Truth be told Republicans believe government should stay out of the bedroom.

So the question is, especially in this time when government wants to strip search you at every turn, do you want more government in the bedroom or less?

And do you frankly believe the president when he made a campaign promise to deliver same sex marriage and then pulled back and said he was against same sex marriage and now he only "supports" it. It would seem to me the Democrats are only pro same sex marriage in elections years and that is why same sex marriage acts never get passed. And what would same sex marriage amount to but a LGBT registration? Personally, I think government doesn't make a commitment between a couple more binding.

It seems like a cheap mean trick to play on the LGBT community during this election year. It is the reason I didn't vote for Obama in 2008 and if he continues on this path of lying to this community it will be the reason I will not vote for him in 2012. But it will not be just me that doesn't vote for him. He will lose the entire elderly population especially those in the African American communities. So Barack is fumbling his own re-election campaign. Between the White House Correspondents' Dinner for the 1% we are now faced with Barack Obama repeating a campaign promise which he failed to keep after he was elected. He is rubbing it in the face of every person who is LGBT that he only "supports" them. Does he write them a check or is he repairing their house? How exactly is he supporting the gay community since he is so busy with his elitist Washington socialities?

Social Impact on Such Radical Reform

Has the White House consider the shear anarchy and impracticality of their "support" but no guarantee. My goodness do we all remember how long it took the morally flexible politicians in DC to actually get rid of a very stupid law of "Don't Ask Don't Tell"? If one considers the impact on churches and conservative institutions which would be federally forced to deal with LGBT marriages it is completely implausible in the near term or shall I say the next four years. I mean the 1% doesn't hang out with the LGBT community but the 99% of the rest of us will be forced to deal with the fall out of this outrageously unplanned and impractical solution to Barack Obama's desires for a second term if he is elected. And again I am pro-gay marriage. I have gay friends. Some of the best people I have known and continue to know in my life are gay. I just find it a little disingenuous for Barack Obama to once again just 6 months before the election start in on the whole same sex marriage act thing when he ignored it for the last 3 1/2 years. Whether Obama wants to accept it or not his presidency is a timed test.

If Barack Obama had been serious about same sex marriage they could have planned it all out for the last 3 1/2 years but they weren't and I only believe they are manipulating the LGBT community to win votes in what will be a very close race for the White House.

Foreign Affairs

Let's pretend for a moment Hollywood isn't loading the young 99% up and sending them off to war to die so they can live well. And let's pretend that this drive to war is now not inclulding women and LGBT community. Why would the president of the United States who is in a world of trouble with the LGBT community for not integrating them into society, who has failed our veterans entirely and has cut every single disabled childs' benefits to bribe other countries specifically Iran go down this road again? Are his handler's unable to manage? There is a difference between what a president would like to do with the country and then what a president can practically do. If you believed Obama in 2008 which I did not, then you believe he has good intentions but can't deliver. If you didn't believe he wishes to embrace the LGBT community then why would anyone believe him in 2012. The problem with politicians is that they are all politicians. They tell everyone what they want to hear because people would like to believe it is true.

It is a complete fabrication. And for straight people who would like to see a completely integrated society including but not limited to crippled children, veterans and LGBT as well as every other subculture in our society, this is hard. Because as much as I want to believe 2012 will be the year of same sex marriages, I will not be fooled twice. I wasn't fooled once. And I feel particularly bad for the LGBT community when POTUS has promised them once he would legalize same sex marriage and integration part of his first term of his presidency and then only "supports" it towards his second term. The LGBT community can do better and it is my greatest hope they do.

Finally, homosexuality is not accepted around the world. It makes putting our troops in foreign lands more dangerous as some societies consider it taboo or sinful. I don't agree with this view but it is a factor in foreign affairs. Is the President of the United States so desperate for votes he would compromise our troops, missions and national security inorder to gain a few votes for a policy which he will never implement? I don't think so and for that reason I feel this is a very cruel and inhumane gesture towards the LGBT community.

The truth is that there is no room in a communist society for anything but slaves and slaves are only suppose to do what they are told. LGBT is considered deviant behavior by communists and therefore defiance. And since Barack Obama has always been part of the 1% he has never had to deal with oppression for any length of time and therefore couldn't imagine what it is to be the 99% of us. As a matter of fact he is still having parties with the 1% as people are standing in soup lines for food. Shame...shame!

I personally don't wnat to hear another word about any social issue in this country until the substantive issue of the desparity in wealth is addressed as well as the God awful unemployment and the economy. I will also hear substantative discussions on removing the flat tax that has been placed by both parties on the 99% of the country. Let's talk about dumping the flat tax off the 99% of the country who is struggling to survive each and everyday. Let talk about jobs. Let's talk about something someone in this counrty can sincerely address. Let's talk about ending Word Trade as our economy tanks everytime other economies tank and we can't continue living this way because America's wealth is being drained by World Trade. Let's talk about real issues and get away from social issues because the economy is causing many of the social issues which we are confronted with today.
